Q: How can i give my character a position and meaning in the war?

A: Before I answer the question: every character on hiraeth is and can be important and influence change in site plots. We are a member driven site, meaning the staff encourages member plots and wants to collaborate with members to create fun plots for everyone.

Q: Another member is godmodding in my thread, what should I do?

A: Stop posting for the time being and take it to a staff member. Let us sort out the issue so you don't have any bad blood with the member. And when we have dealt with the issue, it is up to you whether you want to continue your plots with the member or not. Regardless, nothing to worry about. There are other people to RP with and I hope the conflict wasn't too bad. This really goes for anything, by the way- metagaming, spamming, or any sort of OOC annoyance/issue.
Q: There are three ideologies? Then which is the evil one?

A: None of them are evil. Boure, Zemina and Kopec are ideologies or groups with varied views, they all have their high and low points. No one group is more evil than any others, they are simply different. Sure, Boure characters may believe that Zemina is evil and vice versa, but when you're writing your app or discussing plots OOC, keep in mind that there is no villain on Hiraeth.
Q: How can my character change ideologies?

A: Characters are allowed to betray their ideologies and switch to the other side. However, this change must be staff approved, and it must be justified in plot. When you betray your ideology, your post count for important ranks reset, and to acquire a leadership role you must participate in another event, fighting/debating for that faction. These can be great plots, but we won't accept all of them because they can cause serious IC repercussions and lose their uniqueness when too many occur.
It is extremely unlikely that you will be accepted to switch factions more than once- so think carefully!
Q: Are guns allowed?

A: Yes, guns are enabled on Hiraeth. HOWEVER, in order to use guns: all rpers in the thread must agree with the use/allow it, it must be a plot point (meaning planned and well thought out), and it must be fair. You cannot use guns IC willy nilly, or else we'll revoke the privilege of using them in posts. Also, if a character is shooting, try not to do it too much. Bullets are generally hard to dodge and it's not realistic to shoot too much in a thread. Ultimately, take it easy on guns. They can have a lot of impact, so treat them that way.
