Margo is a small-town girl with that small-town mentality. That meanig she's a friendly girl who likely trusts a bit too often. Raised to care for others -- specifically pokemon, but eventually people -- she's naturally a bit of a helicopter when it comes to dealing with people. Are you okay? Any injuries? How are you healing? Is that a bruise? Friends get this two fold.

In general Margo is probably going to have a handful of people she's friendly with, and then a couple close friends. It'll be easiest for her to get close to people who can handle her hovering and then some. She's a stubborn about her worrying, and is one of those friends you'll have a hell of a time getting rid of.

Margo is very motherly in her actions. This is very strongly present with her friends and patients. If you mess with her friends of patients there will be problems. She also in general is opposed to those enthusiastic or too gung-ho about the war. Having seen a lot of people die, and having lost people and pokemon close to her, she's more than a little touchy about the subject.

Bullies also get the short end of the stick with her. If you pick on people for fun with the intention of hurting their feelings or bodies you'll have a very mad Margo on you in no time. Finally, don't talk about her family. Negative comments about mom and pop won't get by her without some retaliation.

While she doesn't show it very often, Margo is a romantic. She would like nothing more than someone to come sweep her off her feet and take her on dates and yada yada yada. She heard one too many stories from her mother about her father growing up, and it really has colored her perceptions. Her few romantic encounters have so far been in line with this romantic ideal, and as a result she still holds it even in war time. Those who both match and don't match this ideal are welcome to take a shot.

Being a nurse now and a pokemon breeder in the past, Margo has a lot of potential past relationships. And future ones. Patients, trainers, people she met on her first journey around Kalos. Name it and we'll talk.

though i can't really see william getting past the entire professional mentality at first, if william and margo had met each other as trainers/people and not doctor and nurse, i think they might have become/will be pretty good friends. he has the mother hen instinct that all caretakers seem to have, although he doesn't display it too much; margo will, to be honest, probably trigger that response with him, though he'd muffle it out of consideration to her own training in nursing.

iunno, i can just see a really nice friendship growing between these two, in regards to being medical people in the middle of a war and also being kopec at the same time? thoughts, please? <3

william Oh yeah, if they have any kind of past as trainers Margo will feel a natural urge to sustain a friendship. She did her best to keep in contact with the majority of people she ran into on her journey, and values their friendships over a lot of others. If William did travelling when he was younger (I mean, there IS a decent gap in age so he could have even been wandering or w/e) it's possible they met up. Likely when Margo was still a pretty fresh "trainer".

As for mother henning, I feel it'll go both ways. I think we talked and said William was a little awkward? I guess if that extends to friends she'll be trying her best to coddle him, despite his age. Also, this is just a thing that came to mind now due to his wandering. There's a definite chance Margo could have a real minor kind of crush on him. He's a lot like her dad in the nomadic stuff etc. Just that silly idea that people gravitate towards people kind of like their parents. Otherwise, I really want a close friendship between them. Maybe he comes to Santalune to help with the efforts there for a little while and they meet/are reunited?

i think they would have met a little after william first became a doctor, which would be about nine years ago? or a little later than that, if margo left on her journey at eleven/tweleve/etc. he's constantly traveling, don't worry -- he's been to everywhere and he will keep going everywhere lol. extreme wanderlust and a loss of a sense of home /pats william

even with that age gap motherhenning/coddling on margo's part is welcome! and i'd love a pseudo father/daughter relationship now that you mention it, or a close friendship. he'd check up on her pretty often if that happened, and going to santalune is a definite yes c: he'd offer to bring her supplies or somesuch like that, maybe even going as far as to bringing some exotic herbs/medicine/etc for her own nursing needs.

william that sounds about right. Margo left pretty much as soon as she could since she was really excited to start adventuring and stuff. And they'll definitely have to talk about his sense of home at some point. Let it slip and you'll have Margo going on for hours about how welcome he is to stay at her little shack of an apartment in Santalune or to go talk to her parents in Dendemille.

And of course good that the coddling is fine, because it's 110% happening. Again, I imagine Margo would see a lot of her dad in William, so it wouldn't be too strange for her to open up to a close friendship/father-daughter kind of thing. Especially since she really misses her parents having not seen them for two years. All of the stuff on supplies sounds great!

Um, I think this is about perfect. We might just want to throw them together at this point and let these two qt's chat and stuff!

he'd totally crash at margo's place, jsyk. and i think that i mentioned in the cbox that anne, william's gardevoir, would love her for it? bc she worries about him, thank you very much, and having a nice friend like margo would be wonderful for him =w=

i think we've settled everything then! do you wanna thread this out soon, and at which point? reunion, flashback, santalune, etc?

william we can do whatever! I'd love to get a thread going soon, but if you want to wait that's equally fine. I'm also pretty unsure on what exactly I want to do. If we do flashback it could be at several points. Reunion would -- I'd assume -- be a little while into the war. Would also probably involve a lot of feelings as Margo cries over her dead pokemon and in general vents all her overloaded emotions over the war in general. Otherwise we could have a likely more lighthearted thread in Santalune as he drops stuff off and she worries about his health moving around all the time.

i'm fine with both, although tbh william would be a lot more jaded/guarded/stoic/etc than normal with the war flashback but somewhat more relaxed with santalune. he hasn't lost anyone to the war yet thankfully given anne's heal pulse and his own doctor skills/teleporting to the nearest pokecenter/etc, but he'd try to comfort her with the reunion. the santalune threads sounds a lot more fluffy in general with only a side dose of angst though and probably a lot better for my feels tbh

and we can get a thread soon, it's just that i might drop the thread for a day or two with school and whatnot. like i do with tamara/leaf omg apologies in advance ;-;
