born in the darkness of night, the setting of silver's birth in new bark town foreshadowed the chilling, cruel personality that would soon arise. he had all of the love and nurturing that a child could ask for, yet it never came to fruition and silver grew up very cold-hearted. always in the shadow of gold, silver's escape was to commit crimes and be a bully. his actions were always someone else's fault and he never would own up to anything that he did wrong.
feeling isolated from the world, silver left home at the age of ten in hopes of finally being normal. he wanted live the life of a pokemon master and tried his hardest to overcome his hatred for the world; it never happened. silver soon realized that many people still held the idea that he was the rebellious and wild pre-teen that he wanted to distance himself from. this caused him to isolate himself from the world and try to act like nothing was wrong.
the war broke out and silver had not been seen or heard from in a few months. he only rarely came out of hiding and when he did it was usually to make a scene. that was something he liked-attention. silver slowly began to come out from hiding more and more and rumors began spreading that he had joined the rebel cause. his reasoning was that the league had abandoned him when he needed them most. so silver joined the boure cause and began to fight from behind the lines.
silver took up the job as a publisher. he helps spread propaganda and run all pro-boure campaigns hidden away somewhere in johto. only rarely does he come out of hiding, but silver is always working to further the boure cause. he works nonstop and channels his anger towards zemina into his work. very few people actually know that he is the main publisher for boure in johto as most of his work is published under his pseudonym: esso s. it's a pun on his initials and his cry for help to extinguish the league.
