Hey all, if your character's from Vermillion (or even if they're not), let me know what they're up to in the city! I want to get as much starting up in the area other than what's already been confirmed in the area.
"Perhaps the most Zemina dominated city of Kanto, Vermillion City has unfortunately been completely taken over by war. Its only purposes are to export and import items at the docks and to train soldiers for Zemina. Much to the public's chagrin, the regular, non-enlisted citizens have been forced out for their own safety. It is no longer safe for the public; brutal Pokemon and people alike train here for battle."
So here's the rundown so far:
- Vermillion Academy: Sponsored by the Pokemon League and run by the Grimoire family, the Vermilion Academy's been around Vermilion City ever since the near beginnings of the city. Students attend the school in hopes of being given an extra entrance opportunity into the ranks of the League, and many of the school's graduates find themselves in prominent roles of the League. The influence of Vermilion Academy is strictly Zemina and is primarily used to train soldiers.
- Zervos Shipping: Vermillion City's cruise liners are shipping industry are an important part of the city's commerce. Both are overseen and owned by the Zervos family. It's suspected that the ships are not only carrying giant crates of food, weapons, or general wares, but also utilized by both Zemina and Boure (albeit undercover) to send spies in and out of the city. Like the majority of Vermilion's organizations, the ports are run by Zemina. However, as long as money's coming in, they let anyone utilize it.
While Hector's in favor of keeping it as a Zemina stronghold, his primary goal for the time being is making Vermillion safer. Expect a mission or two to go up revolving around stomping on some people stirring up trouble whether they're Zemina or Boure. Don't matter. Hector wants them to start acting like civil members of the city.
And... that's about it at the moment. Give me what you've got in mind though!

real talk, though: vermillion is essentially kanto's zemina fortress, and taking it for boure is probably. kind of a big deal. unfortunately, it seems as if boure soldiers would get kicked out of the city faster than one can say 'anne.' if hector grimoire is a-okay with this plot going forward, i'd suggest there be more investigators and propagandists in vermillion, to slowly work toward taking the city down.

helen zervos I'm A-okay as long as it's drawn-out and we get a good plot out of this, potentially maybe an event somewhere down the line. I do want to get as many people as possible involved in this. Bring me your Boure and Zemina propagandists, spies, and espionage. Shit's going down.

YES! I want to get involved! I don't have any specific ideas right now, but I'm totally up for being a part of it if you guys have any ideas. He would be totally willing to take in any information Helen has and report it to the "higher ups."

Well shit. All I wanted to do was take a nap and I get dragged into this? I think Elijah can muster up some energy to be a frequent overseer for Zervos Shipping. He's pretty comfortable on a ship but please don't stick him in a classroom. He'd be a terrible teacher. He might just sit at one of the student desks and sleep.
But~ I've also got Artemisia who's all about that espionage and could be a teacher at this academy to undermine their education is it's in Bourne's interest.

ROMAN ayyy. helen and elijah working together sounds like a plan? and they're both administrators, so even if hector's technically their superior they could possibly get along. depending on how often he's in vermillion, i don't see why he can't help be in charge of the shipping of zemina supplies around the regions. and yes please @ artemisia. we need more spies.

Elliot Carmichael I think you'll mostly be plotting with Ari who writes for Helen but hey hey what's up anyways ROMAN Hey there North! If you've got any ideas for Vermillion, let me know. I think Hector would be Elijah's superior, so I imagine he'd be reporting in to him whenever? That'd be swell though if he was stationed at Zervos Shipping. As for Artemesia trying to undermine the education, I'd be all for it. Honestly just bring all the Vermillion plots and I will be a happy camper.

hector grimoire Give me a few hours and I might have some ideas but I think Hector is going to have a tough time bringing Elijah to heel. Generally speaking Eli doesn't like people, he doesn't like younger people - cus they tend to b noisy fuckers - and even less when they're trying to give him orders. Half the time he's just going to sit there and stare at him like 'nah nigga you don't have enough badges' and the other half he might actually do what you want. He's probably going to keep doing this even when he finally respects Hector and will likely listen to Helen more than him (because no matter how lazy he is tits are a powerful motivator).
helen zervos I'd be fine if she and Elijah knowing one another and have some form of working dynamic. He's there at least one or two weeks out of the month to check up on his mom who still lives in Vermillion so he'll at least give them advance warning before he returns.

Alex is a trooper in Vermillion probably works under Hector and pretty competent. I could see Alexander training basic troops and teaching a couple of basic courses at the academy, among other jobs that hector or Helen or too busy to do. He'd probably be running around the city making sure everyone stays peaceful, and disagreements are settled civilly
/continues to side-eye Helen,
