The second son of the Grimoire family Alexander is more of an extrovert than anything. Very used to playing second string to his eldest brother Alexander has grown to be rather idealistic and slightly jealous of the elders position. However his love for family and admiration for Hector in particular outweighs these darker feelings. Having been quite overlooked for the majority of his life Alexander has acquired an inferiority complex takes pride in accomplishing tasks and generally distinguishing himself in his own way.
He's also extremely unsure about Zemina and more over the way his family runs Vermillion. In his earlier youth he was able to travel though a region or two on his own changing his world view almost entirely. This combined with his already idealistic nature forces a heavy amount of doubt he deals with constantly as he works under Hector.

You’re the forgotten one.
You watch your eldest brother excel in all he does and despite your own successes you’re overlooked. You don’t mind, much after all he watches out for you, sticks up for you when you fail and has protected you for as long as you can remember. Indeed he’s the model you can never be no matter how hard you try, and that’s okay you’re you and even if that’s inadequate you’re determined to make due with this fact. By no means are you stupid, in fact your grades at the academy are stellar, and not just because your family owns it, You’re able to prove yourself not because you were slated from birth to be placed in a position in the upper crust, but because your good at it. However you long to see the world to travel and participate in your own journey, and at eighteen you get your chance. Instead of taking a position immediately you opt and present an opinion to your parents in hopes of allowing you to take this journey. Your parents are by no means pleased by this request however for one reason or another allow it with the promise you’ll be back two years to the day that you left, and that you’ll help your brother in all his future endeavors. You effectively sell your soul for this journey and it works out rather well.
You end up finding yourself and gaining that worldly opinion you sought for so long, you also acquire a number of pokemon that also help you shine in your own light. However a year and a half into this excursion tension begins to pick up and you’re called back home to preform your duties. It’s not entirely fair but with the state of the world as is you were worried about your home regardless and so despite the unfairness of it all you agree to return and begin your duties as a Grimoire. As you return your parents aren’t exactly thrilled to see you, but when have they ever been? You pay no mind to it and smile broadly for your brother, not because you owe him, but because you still despite that jealousy genuinely love him. Even though you know you’re not that useful, and you harbor feelings you’re unsure will ever go away you’ve devoted yourself to helping him protect that which he loves. You hold the hope that on this path you’ll find something to protect as well. However as you walk as a Zemina trooper you feel even more unsure of the cause you fight for. “Is all of this really right?” You ask yourself when you wake up only to ignore it. After all if there’s room for doubt it just means you could be working harder.
