LEAF and sapphire
sapphire is strongly zemina-aligned. because leaf and sapphire are the same age and were traveling around their respective regions at the same time, and leaf is strongly boure, they should be hardcore rivals, i think. sapphire is extremely competitive and looks for any sort of elevation and/or glory. i think they might despise each other, lol. and maybe someday they'll meet in battle or something. could be cool. sapphire is a little blind to any other person's worldview, so her dislike for leaf wouldn't come from her alignment with boure- it'd mostly be her just not understanding leaf's views in the least. should be fun? add/subract? <3

Blue It would be crazy easy for Blue to find Leaf. As one of the public faces of Boure she broadcasts her appearances and speech schedule pretty openly. She mostly floats around Saffron and its surrounding cities and then makes regular visits back to Pallet Town to make sure things continue going smoothly there. Maybe occasionally makes her way down to Fuchsia. Anyway, it would be easy for him to "hear she was in the area" and pester her. And like I said, she'd let him along if for no other reason than her inferiority thing. And then it can escalate. Maybe they can met in the Celadon Mall?

sapphire Okay, these two are CRAZY similar. Like, they have very similar pasts and just went opposite directions with it. Both lagged behind their "rivals", though Leaf by admittedly more. Both of them dealt with the evil groups in their regions. Etc etc. It's just that Sapphire decided the best place to play hero was Zemina and Leaf decided to go to Boure. The fact that they're so similar in background but so different in ideology is really interesting and I think it could allow for some really fun plots and stuff. Leaf may understand Sapphire's angle, but she's really stubborn and refuses to accept defeat in anything so yeah, they'll clash plenty. And OF COURSE I'd love to see them battle. I don't really have much to add, just a lot of concurring.

LEAF About Pearl, I think he'd be more than happy to share lunch with Leaf. Actually, he'd probably be happy to hear her out about a lot of things. Mostly he just likes being around people, might not have much input to give to others, but still tries his best. He'd also be up for a friendly battle as well. Would probably try to impress her with his stories about Team Galactic but fail miserably because he's a terrible try-hard. But yeah I figure it'd be cute so I'd be all for running for it if you'd like!

As for Hector, I'm all for Leaf trying to stir up trouble in Vermillion. I'm generally all for trouble in the area, so long as it doesn't involve mass destruction. But civil unrest? Go for it. I honestly wouldn't be particularly surprised if he's been called in multiple times when she's somehow managed to get through the gates with a megaphone.

LEAF Sure thing! I was just wondering how Leaf and Pearl would have first bumped into each other. I figure if we're stuck it could literally be a casual thing where one's eating lunch and spontaneously decides to eat with the other because they didn't have anyone to sit with. I think Pearl would be more likely to take that initiative?

LEAF hector grimoire If you wanna send Alex in to try and talk or reason with leaf I wouldn't mind at all because he's probably read about Leaf or seen her broadcasted rallies and kinda feels for her he's not nearly as set in stone as Hector, but he would at least try to make peace with the woman. I can see him being the Bolin of the situation in a sense.

cynthia leaf will without a doubt have a problem with a champion not being invested in their region, ex or no. Debates are all game too. Leaf makes her living off of proclaiming the benefits of Boure and trying to convert people over to her side. She'd be more than happy to clash wits with Cynthia on occasion. You just might need to give her some time to cool down if she winds up short on points and "loses". Sore sore loser

From what I've read, I see Crimsen fitting perfectly into the role of one of leaf's very short relationships or maybe a mutual crush that was never acted on by either party depending on the ages where they interacted.

He's a slightly older island boy who lived just on the other side of route 21, given their ages and proximity they could have been at least acquaintances at any point in the last 20 or so years.

To juxtapose that connection of their history Crimsen is now a fighter who is just as unsure of which side he wants to be on (Zemina or Kopec) as Leaf is cocksure she's right in backing Boure. Crimsen could serve as someone who is a little of everything to LEAF; former loveship, current hate/friendship.

Given how he feels about Kanto Boure and how she feels of Zemina and the league in general the plotting would be a set up that literally puts them at odds for their ideologies (or lack thereof), rather than any actual dislike for one another.


TL; DR
There's this handsome s.o.b. named Sen who lived on Cinnabar for all the time leaf lived in Pallet and crushed on her super-hard all his life. He may or may not have even dated her once upon a time, but who can remember that far back? Anywho he's Zemina now, mostly, and still adores her as much as he ever did regardless of their history but wont let her get in his way. Similarly, he makes the effort to stay out of hers but knows at some point they're probably going to have it out on the field.

tamara If we were going to have them meet for the first time I guess it depends where the inter-region meeting was held, it would be back flash, yeah. If it's a present time check up Leaf could be convinced to stop by Sinnoh, but it would be easiest to come to her at like Pallet Town or somethin. I personally don't mind one way or the other.

helen zervos Yeah, I'm really amazed at how nice everyone is, so many plots! I've yet to get one I'm not excited for, and that certainly includes yours! I'll try to get it in soon!

Crimsen These two could have interacted a hundred times between Leaf's adolescence and her adulthood. When she first came through she would have still been in her "invisible girl" prime. In fact, she probably would have had a situation somewhat similar to Crimsen when fighting Blaine. It's certainly possible the slightly older boy could catch her attention if he was nice to her. Nothing would have likely come of it since she was busy trying to stick to Red and Blue's heels as well as she could, but after the events of R/G/B she started her time as a nomad.

I imagine that Leaf could have easily spent an extended amount of time at Cinnabar before leaving for the Sevii Islands. And she certainly would have remember the boy that had been so nice to her. Over the next fair number of years she could have been in and out of Cinnabar, and I can see there being a good friendship and some crushing, but at this point she was admittedly caught up in herself, her training, and the start of her identity. So I see them being close friends, and in a state where if one or both of them became just a bit more forward potential lovers.

I'd like it if it had stayed in that almost-but-not-quite state since it could be fun to plot out that tension now. The mix of past affection and bitter dislike for one another's ideologies could be interesting and allow for some really cool threads. It's certainly possible they could have a relationship after some threading and development of how they interact now. I'm sure that for both of them the opposite sides issue would be a real wrench in not only romance, but also friendship.
