mission guidelines
▼
Missions are IC assignments given by your character's ideology for them to complete. They are to be threaded out in any fashion you wish. For completing a mission you can get anywhere from 50-150 pokeyen, depending on the way staff judges it. Missions can be completed with only 1-4 character and a staff played NPC, or by two characters (on opposing sides). For ever open mission there is an "opposing spot," although it is not listed. If a PC on Boure wants to oppose a Zemina mission and the Zemina member agrees, then they may thread it out and will both be rewarded.
Missions may also result in rewards for the entire faction, such as a level on the scale, etc.
Post here with your character's name, what mission you'd like to claim, and who (if anyone) you'll be playing it out with. Then you can start a thread in the appropriate sub board with the mission name as the thread title. If you require a staff NPC, tag one of us.
Missions can influence plot and are extremely fun, so we highly encourage you try a few.

WAR GAMES - taken by white
The Vermillion warbase initiative has been a huge success, with many Zemina faithful opting to enlist rather than lose their homes. However, this has left the city with an influx of brand new, somewhat inexperienced soldiers. We’ve got a group of rookie agents ripe for the training: running them through some basic drills should let us know how much of an asset they’ll be in our future.
LOSING HOPE - open
Things have been getting really bad around Viridian. Despite our best efforts, supplies and morale have been at rock bottom. If things persist the way they are, we might end up losing their allegiance for good. We’re setting up a festival day to try and brighten their spirits. Any propagandists or entertainers who can give the people some hope will be handsomely rewarded.

IN THE DARK OF NIGHT - open
Dark Cave’s never been on our side, but it’s a useful resource. We’d like to keep it that way with as little interference as possible, but we’ve left it unmonitored for far too long. Tonight we’re experimenting with setting up some guard outposts inside the cave: keep an eye out for any suspicious activity, and defend the cavern against any and all sudden intrusions.
CHERRY BOMBS - open
Cherrygrove’s an incredibly important port to secure, but with all these rocks surrounding it it’ll be downright unusable. Destroying them is our top priority, boosting our economic strength and finally allowing us to use a port more reliable than Olivine. Just don’t get too trigger happy, or the noise might attract all sorts of disturbed wild Pokémon.

ASHES TO ASHES – taken by ruby and sapphire
In this brutal war we'll need every source of food we can get. While the city may not be as heavily defended as we'd like, Fallarbor's rich soil makes it a perfect choice for setting up a farmland. It could also make for a great public relations move: surely after helping Fallarbor not once but twice, we'll be able to start swaying some of the neutrals onto our side.
SHE SELLS SECRETS ON THE SEASHORE - taken by tate & liza
Near the start of the war we sent a hired double agent onto the Boure front lines to try and secure some insider information. Now they've finally come back to collect. Hit the rendezvous point at Meteor Falls, and make sure to wring as many secrets out of them as you can. Just keep on your guard, because you never know just how honorable these freelancers can be.

OPPORTUNITIES UNOWN – open
The Solaceon Ruins are one of the few places on the planet where Unown can be found. They are some of the most mysterious Pokemon in all the regions, and we feel putting some effort into studying them might reveal some great secrets. Spending the night in the Ruins should be a huge help in shedding some light on these mysteries. Just be careful, because we have no idea what they're capable of.
A LITTLE TALK - open
It's no secret that there's some impressive tech holed up in the old Galactic building, but Veilstone's been awfully choosy in who they're sending any of it over to. It's imperative that we broker a deal first, and take the lion's share of this technology right under Boure's noses. Just be sure to bring your best speakers, because Veilstone's moguls are experts at weaving around negotiations.

PRESSING BACK – open
Nacrene Village's daily newspaper is starting to be much more trouble than its worth. Fortunately, we've got a bit of a surprise for Boure. Our own newspaper's ready for circulation, and it's got the scoop on all of Boure's biggest failings. Of course, we could always switch out the two supplies and let Boure do our job for us: swap out the newspaper crates and don't let anyone see you.
WHAT’S MINE IS YOURS – open
Mining in Chargestone Cave has been met with no success so far. Computers and machines get disrupted by the strange, magnetic properties of the cave, and the few we've managed to keep running always end up getting buried in webs. We're gonna have to do this mining the old fashioned way if we want to produce anything worthwhile. Grab your pickaxe and get to work, in hopes of finding some useful gems and ores.

THE BLACK MARKET – open
Now that Ambrette Town has been eclipsed by Cyllage in almost every way, the few scientists remaining have started to let their allegiances wander. A bit of coercion or bribery should do wonders for getting them to spill any secrets they're still privy too. Just keep your guard up in case these scientists are more loyal than we thought: we don't need a diplomatic crisis on our hands.
SPYING ON THE STARS – open
Anistar City's observatories are of questionable use in wartime, but with a bit of modification they can be very useful spy towers. We've rigged up an example that could really use a test run, and the routes around Anistar City will make for perfect targets. If the experiment is a success, we might end up putting spy towers all over the Kalos mountain region.
