▶ HISTORY:
Born 25 years ago in Blackthorn City, Johto, on January 29th, Hunter Shigure was brought up by a single mother, who barely made enough money for the two of them to get by. As a result, Hunter learned growing up to never take anything for granted, and understood the value of the little things that he did possess as opposed to simply wanting more and more, as was the case with many of his richer counterparts.
Even with what little he and his mother had, Hunter's early years were relatively happy (at least for him). Unfortunately at Age 16, disaster struck, and his mother lost her job. Unable to pay for their old, run down apartment, he and his mother were kicked out by the landlord, and spend the next few years living on the street. For the next year Hunter and his mother lived as beggars, and were force to depend on going to the soup kitchen to get a halfway decent meal.
At this point Hunter realized that he needed to find work of some kind, no matter how poor the pay was. He eventually received a job as a janitor at a local office building. He had been working there for six months when his fortunes changed literally overnight. Hunter was working the night shift when he came across a thief who had broken in looking for valuables to steal. Much to his own surprise as well as the thief’s, Hunter was able to subdue the man just as the security guards (the people who were supposed to have caught this man) arrived on the scene. Impressed that Hunter was able to do what the so-called security forces had not, Hunter was asked in interview for a full time security guard position at the firm, and was shortly thereafter, offered the position which he readily accepted.
Over the following years, Hunter’s track record of keeping the premesis safe and crime free, skyrocketed past any of his colleagues, and at the age of 23, when the director of security retired, Hunter was chosen to take his place. However by this time, Hunter’s reputation had caught the attention of the Blackthorn City leaders, who had grown increasingly wary about the news about attacks being launched against the Pokemon League in distant lands, and had decided that they needed to build up a security force to keep the same thing from happening to them. Wanting a young rising star to be the face of their new organization, they hired Hunter as its head, and he has held the position ever since.
