quiet, quiet celestic town is not a likely place for a famous person to be born in, but that is the case - one cynthia lilburne who would later become sinnoh champion was born in the village, amidst the sounds of pokemon and nature as it was before industrialization. she grows up with the pokemon and parents and grandparents and a younger sister and family - lives with them, breathes with them, until two are no more.
the journey she embarks upon shortly after is only partly fueled by a desire to see the world, only partly inflamed by the need to support a small family in a small town in a big, big world.
she leaves with a gible and a pack on her back and herself, but she returns with a garchomp and so much more - the least of them being the title of champion.
