ok first things i'll eat your brains then i'm start rocking gold teeth and fangs. It was late afternoon, perhaps later than one might expect. In all honesty, Bane never paid attention to time. She had long since stopped caring on how many nights had set and how many days had risen. She was relaxing on a bench in the busiest city in Kanto. Saffron city, mere miles away from her own home town. It was a strange sort of sentmentality - so far from home, yet so close. She had really grown up, she had achieved some sort of reputation. She leaned back closing her eyes to the bright blue sky and it's rolling clouds. She felt it before she could protest. She thought it to be a pick-pocket for a second, a dangerous thing to do to the fighter that could you flip you open in a second but when hand went to the belt on her waist - the wolf in sheep's clothing felt the empty pokeball in the hollow of her palm. She blinked once, twice - before glancing around the city streets. A city streets now in trouble as a ghost lurked in the shadows. Not that was a problem to Bane, it was her own ghost pokemon and she wasn't terribly worried. The pokemon had to be Lucifer, the proud, if not slightly vain gengar that hated to be contained. Better he commit pranks than Mammon who would happily pickpocket the poorest man on the street. She waited, blinking in the afternoon sun and keeping her eye out for the moving shadow without a body, or a chill in the air where there wasn't a breeze - signs of her pokemon. She sighed, rubbing her eyebrows and gave a lackadaisical yawn before resting against the bench. Until she heard a scream she wasn't moving. LOTS OF WORDS FOR OPEN ― ONE GENGAR ON THE LOOSE!

"Tamashi! Again!"
He could almost see the little Riolu start to cry. The man knew just how hard he had been practicing this new move, but Elliot Carmichael was not an easy coach to follow. He was very much into the idea of Perfection. Which wasn't in the poor Riolu's vocabulary obviously. But it was simply a phase. All of his Pokemon had gone through it. It was kind of a sad time for Elliot to watch, and each of them reacted differently from the rest, but it was necessary for them to figure out what was truly of importance. Perfection and Purity. Having felt Tamashi's pain Elliot sighed and moved toward the little figure. When he noticed his approach, Tamashi became very angry. He even growled in fury, telling his own master to stay away. But Elliot was not afraid of him. Nebula, his absol, stood behind him. He had nothing to fear, she would protect him.
When he reached Tamashi, he leaned down and placed his hand onto the little Pokemon's head gently. "I know Tamashi. Its not the easiest move, but we'll get through this. Just keep going. Keep moving and you'll get it eventually. Endure." With that the little blue Pokemon snorted and pulled away from his fingers. However, even though he still seemed to be upset, there was something that changed in Tamashi's attitude. Instead of anger, his expression was replaced with determination. Stubborn little fellow wasn't he. Elliot watched as he readied himself for the move.
He had only just learned it a couple days ago, and he was newly placed on Elliot's team, but he was already doing so well in Elliot's book. He trained all of his own Pokemon, because he didn't trust the judgement of anyone else. He was already impressed with Tamashi's perseverance with the training when already most of his other pokemon would have given up by now. The only one who went much longer then this was Nebula, and it would take a very long time before the affection that he willingly gave to Nebula, would be open to Tamashi as well.
"Tamashi," He started calmly, "High Jump Kick."
At his words Tamashi growled and began to run. Then he pushed himself off the ground so hard he flew into the air. Which at this point he began to use the moment he had achieved to get that high off the ground to pull himself back down and a rate that was twice as fast as his running start. But something went terribly wrong (again) and he hesitated at the last moment, causing himself to shift positions. He curled himself into a ball and came crashing down near the walkways. Elliot did not react with fear or anger, in fact he forced himself to relax and run over to Tamashi. His demeanor calm and his emotions blocked out, Elliot leaned down over Tamashi and picked him up out of the whole he had created in the ground. Thanks a lot, now I have to pay for property damage. That being though Elliot stood up with him in his arms.
"Tamashi... Wake up. Tamashi."

ok first things i'll eat your brains then i'm start rocking gold teeth and fangs. On a list of Bane's talents, up there with killing and stealing - falling asleep in less than thirty seconds pretty much took the cake. She had just meant to close her eyes and enjoy the day but that flew out the window as soon as the colors stopped dancing behind her eyelids. She was a light sleeper so it wasn't like she was in that much trouble if somebody messed with her and honestly, who would? She liked to think she had a dangerous aura, a sort of wave that came off her that said she wasn't one to be messed with. Most of it was true too, if you discounted the lazy krokorok and the blackhole of a stomach that was her shuppet. She adjusted herself on the bench, curling her black jacket around her when she heard a spooky cackle and she blinked, instantly rearing her head to see if it was Luci. Instead, it was like watching a demo reel from video and she saw the riolu hit the concrete so hard she was sure he had left an indent on the other side of the world. It's not every day you see a riolu attempt to become a swanna and thus, it took a moment for Bane to process what had happened. "Were you training on the sidewalk?" She asked in cautious curiosity, a smile (genuine) curving on her lips as she stuck her hands inside her pocket and rose in a single fluid motion. She felt the chill in the air before she saw him and was met with ear-splitting screech as the gengar appeared behind the stranger in an attempt to scare him. When the scream was done, it floated away - chuckling with a malicious grin. She blinked once, twice hardly unaffected by her own pokemon's pranks and glanced down at the pokemon. "Is he going to be alright?"

Her voice caught his attention from his feinted Pokemon. He turned to her and opened his mouth to respond but felt the hair on the back of his neck stand up from the sudden chill. He didn't have long enough to think about what that meant, but he did ready himself for anything that might happen in the next 30 seconds.
The scream made him flinch and gasp a little bit as he held onto Tamashi in a defensive manor. It wasn't that he cared so much about the Riolu, but he wasn't a killer either. At least not yet. There hasn't been a situation in which he was forced to kill. Either way, his own pokemon each had their own purpose in his team. If he lost even one of them, it would be very difficult to replace them. But as well as scaring himself, Tamashi's eyes opened in a form of panic and he screeched in fear. Elliot couldn't really blame the little guy as it wasn't really his fault that he was waking into this situation.
When the scream settled down Elliot turned on his heels and glared coldly at the ghost Pokemon behind him. Foolish Gengar. But he let it go and turned back to the girl, who was now speaking to him again. Before he answered either of her questions he studied her over with a single eye swipe, then he looked down at the now struggling Tamashi in his arms. "No." He gestured at the small grassy area behind them a few feet away. "He chose the spot." He motioned his head towards Tamashi. "He'll be fine. He's just going through an uncertain phase. He'll grow out of it."
Then he sat down on the bench where the girl had been sitting only a few moments ago. "Tamashi, relax. Panicing like this will only hurt you more."

ok first things i'll eat your brains then i'm start rocking gold teeth and fangs. She laughed, a kind of chuckle that gained an octave as she went - feeling the gengar brush his fingers against her shoulder before settling there, floating above with a grin. Showing off his fangs he looked like the cheshire cat, staring down the riolu and it's trainer. She glanced at the stranger and then his pokemon, the grin only growing. Perhaps it was wrong to smile in a situation like this but hell, she stopped caring a long time ago. "Teaching the baby how to fight? Cute." She laughed, hands going into her pockets. "You might gain a little more success if you a a ctually showed him some techniques. Heck, he might gain more experience if you sparred with him too." She offered her advice with a light-hearted shrug, feeling Lucifer's chilly breath on the nape of her neck and the gengar himself chuckled before drifting to the ground and into her shadow. She herself and her pokemon had benefitted from some one on one sparring. Of course, it was like wrestling a monster. She got some wicked scars from sparring with Asmodeus but in her mind it was worth it. Besides, it would be easier sparring with a riolu than it would be trying to spar a ghost or a tiny dragon. She watched him quiver and sighed. "I don't have any treats, sorry. Hey, little dude, calm down. It's all good." She said, glancing down at the riolu with a much more softer smile.
