So, I'm digging the heck out of your Diantha and I'm gonna spill a bunch of ideas from the get-go, sort out the recyclables, divide the M&Ms by color (i like the red ones the most btw idek why dont ask), etc.
I don't know why, but I have a feeling Curtis wouldn't mind being "Curtis" around her—after all, they're kind of in the same boat like you said: faces for Boure and considering the similar nature of their work (and their previous work on a movie i kinda wanna draw this yo), I think he'd definitely let go of his idol persona to focus on whatever they need to do politically for Boure.
Maybe she'd have some sort of resentment towards him. Maybe. He's part of the new generation of celebrities and she's from an older era of fame. There can be some tension there, some rubbing of shoulders there. A chance to ruin his reputation can happen here if it comes down to it (after all, idols are supposed to maintain their image relatively stricter), despite them being a part of the same movement. idek dekdieidke
They could be a part of another movie, drama, whatever again and during their promotional period they could be spreading Boure's message, propaganda at the same time, etc. That could lead to a bunch of interesting scenarios, or a mission maybe. Maybe even dangerous things like assassination attempts, assaults, sabotage, etc. They can protect each other, have someone hired to help them, etc!
Curtis really looks up to her, especially since she was a Champion. A blind respect, maybe. He totally admires her, but considering the nature of their work at the moment, he has to shuffle some of his awe away for some seriousness.
He doesn't mind her stoicism. The business big cats have a lot of hard-to-deal with attitudes after all and by now, he's used to them despite his young age. He thinks it's a part of her charm, a part of her charisma. He thinks it makes her seem wise.
Considering how much she's gone through, or at least, he thinks he has (the business isn't always the kindest and the stresses of being a Champion must have been unimaginable), he wants to do a lot for her. He wants to make sure she's happy. He wants her to have a happy retirement when the time comes, a graceful exit from the spotlight. And this isn't because he wants her out of the business, no. That malice isn't there; that competitiveness isn't there. He just wishes the best for her and he'll do anything to protect her like a little lion cub protecting the pride's main lioness—maybe he'd reflect some of the figures in her past.
They can go shopping for clothes together or something lmfao. Have lunch together, do people-watching, blah blashfalsjrslr.
hobobaskrslrl so a ton of vomit there but it's just a bunch of brain-gunk spewed onto text! We can talk more on skype, etc if it comes down to it!

yep im copying ur format 8D also what r u talking about. red candy is poisonous, especially gummy worms. u'll die from that crap yo yeah but she is a little stoic, for such a public figure. and i think one of their main reasons for getting along is they both have...hidden personas. for him it's slightly more literal, but she does have to hide a lot from the public eye. diantha is always acting, whether it's heavy stuff or just white lies, she never can stay the same for too long. she dreads everything passé. i don't think she'd resent him but there might be some sort of "wow ur generation...did you even go to college for this?" because she considers acting a fine art and incredibly difficult. she likes qualifications; she likes when people are trained and have refined skills. if she learns that curtis does, she'll grow to respect him quite a bit. i have this image of them talking in private and her just pointing out everything wrong with someone's performance, lol. the whole movie thing sounds absolutely amazing btw. if he did a good job they might be a sort of duo, playing teacher/pupil in a few films or doing a (slightly unbelievable bc of their ages) mother/son thing. she'd probably appreciate his help, although might find it sliiightly silly at first. she's not really going anywhere, she's one of those actresses that will just embrace aging and become the next star in her 60s. it's what she does, there are certain eras to her life. they should totally shop and have lunch and criticize films and shit. we could even do a flashback thread and have them present a film award together. curtis fox

diantha fontaine - So heck yesss to all the things you've written. Curtis has done some formal training. It's part of the contract he has, but even then, he's pursued the craft even before he became signed. The dream to become an entertainer was in his blood early in his life and he made sure to get a head start. Idols don't have a long lifespan: Curtis knows this. So, he put his blood, sweat and tears (and most of his childhood) to become a triple threat to keep his career afloat even if things went astray—then again, things already have with the war. But his training is what leads him to respect Diantha the way she does. The popular celebrities of recent times have not necessarily put in the same kind of work he and the older generation have done. Sure, Curtis might have been picked out of the crop because of a handsome face, but he has the honed skill to make up for it. I can imagine a thread of them being backstage or something, about to present a film award. Or even the two in the audience right before they have to get into position to present the award... whenever. And then, criticizing the winner of the category like wow what a scrub no talent what is this rigged why is the whole academy's council made up of white old men, etc. etc.

tate & liza yes, they should. i think we spoke about it on skype a bit? sapphire might be sorta useful to the twins at times, and she and tate seem like they could be great friends. curtis fox , that sounds great. diantha will be extremely happy that curtis pursued his dreams in that way: made the right choices, got his training and worked for it, that't always good to see. once they are pretty close, it might be great to see them criticize other actors or films together. i think one of the most uniting concepts is their "other halves," if you will. he seems to be a different person in front of the press and she is too. i think it might be cool to see the wraps unfold there a little bit, ie, doing a backstage scene after a movie premiere and just...being very different people. yeah. i love this. we should thread this.

I'm not sure what kinda plot would develop with these two. First and foremost Crimsen is totally smitten with Sapphire Birch, she is in the literal, the girl of his dreams. But of course, he doesn't know her so he's more smitten with his own interpretation of her, his idea of her. He is acutely aware of his fixation though so should they meet he wouldn't gush out on her. More likely, he would keep his out of context crush to himself and get to know the real her. I could see them over time being great confidants with a sliver of long-developed attraction that is never fully developed.
A will they/won't they that never realizes a culmination.
And in the meantime they do missions and battle together, most of the time Crimsen would be both her client and her on-assignment partner.
sapphire Is any of this resonating? Anything you want to add subtract, alter?

It might be fun to do something between diantha fontaine and Agnès. There's not much at all similar in their backgrounds, in fact, they probably couldn't be more different. Still, I'd imagine they'd come across in a similiar way. Polite and proper, doing what's expected of them in the roles they've ended up while in public. At the very least they should get drinks together some night at a cafè.

I'm not entirely sure how Skell and Silas might meet - a Kanto mobster and a Kalos author - but I think that if they did for some reason end up interacting, it could be pretty interesting. Silas is less murderous than Skell, but his sense of morality is certainly strange, and he has a pretty unusual outlook on the world. He doesn't personally mind the loneliness it brings him, but I think the two of them could appreciate a lot of each other's conventionally "creepy" traits. In addition, they're both creatively minded, and Silas shares Skell's fascination with words - although in his case, he applies it towards working as an author. Basically, Silas might be more than a little frightened by Skell, but I think the two share enough uncommon traits in common that they could get along, were they to somehow meet?

Crimsen && sapphirei love this idea. i think it might be really adorable if he has this crush on her, they meet and it all sort of disappears. because she really appears differently than most people think or assume she does. maybe they turn into zemina-buddies of sorts, they trust each other on missions or speak a lot about what they do on a daily basis. i think it's pretty great that he might have this ounce of attraction for her and she probably thinks he's a handsome guy, but unfortunately i think he'd get friendzoned a bit, lol. this seems really great, we should thread it out, over a mission maybe? agnès fabre && diantha fontainei think these two, although different in story, would get along great. on the exterior, at least. diantha's inner self craves excitement and adrenaline, so as they talk and speak and befriend each other, her emotions might be crying out for something more exciting. maybe she can help agnés explore a different side? even if it just involves playing heavy rock music whilst they discuss their jobs, kalos, and boure. i could see them having a falling out in the future and going separate ways, but always being allies simply for kalos's sake? silas && skell bourasalright. so first things first: i want to let you know- skell won't be rude or mean or scary or unkind to him at all upon their first meeting. she can be all of those things, but one of the things that keeps her rooted for me as an rper is her emotions and her regret. she wouldn't act rude or speak about darker matters in front of people she is just meeting, not without reason. and keep in mind, any murders she has committed or any crimes she has committed haven't come to light yet- no one really knows they've even occurred. just want to put that out there, it might help you get a better understanding of her. i do love the plot you have though. skell hasn't ever written anything herself but she does love to read good pieces. especially from an author that picks their words carefully. i think silas and skell share something- a similar urge to use words to convey emotions and issues and important things. but i think they choose to do that in different ways- skell messes with minds, and silas writes. skell doesn't usually adopt business partners unless they explicitly offer her a perk or something of the sort, but she might offer silas a spot in the saffron paper, or hire him to write something about silph co. maybe they can have a sort of...over the phone/tech-based friendship first because he is in kalos, but she can meet him when she travels there on business or something?

Ah, alright. In contrast, I think Silas is someone who tends to stand out right away. He's not rude, but he's pretty oblivious of social conventions sometimes, and his odd outlook on things tends to show itself pretty easily. He's always intrigued when people respond to him in a way that isn't discomfort, although he's still slow to warm up to people.
But yeah, I think their shared relationship with words could be a very interesting plot, something that they might be able to relate to each other over. Silas hasn't published too much, yet, but his work has a little bit of a cult following in some circles, so it's definitely possible that Skell would find out about him that way. While Silas writes things for Kopec nowadays, he's also definitely still working on other projects, so I can see him doing something for Skell.
Yeah, maybe they talk over the phone for a while but then, eventually, Silas comes to Kanto and ends up meeting with her in person? Silas actually rather likes talking on the phone because he doesn't have to think about nonverbal communication, so it'd be a good way for him to get used to someone, I think.

skell bouras Maybe Danny and Skell could have some stuff? I mean Danny has business partners of all sorts, and every business needs to have some underground connections, right? I imagine Danny is probably all kinds of weirded out by her, but as long as her money is good that's all he cares about. What they make deals about can be pretty much anything. Need someone gone, no problem. Want some information, how much and from who. Etc etc. Also, while Skell is all brains Danny is basically all brawn. While he might enjoy her money I can see them maybe butting heads a bit on some things. I don't know. This is really the definition of me just throwing out everything that comes to mind. Add or subtract at will!

silas && skell bourasi'm loving this. what i think is very interesting about all of it is that, to other characters/the public, they'd probably seem like two very, very different people, especially in social scenes. skell often seems like an extrovert in extremely public situations, but that couldn't be less true. and i think her 'facade' is something that silas doesn't even bother to throw up himself. i think they're both introverts and can be a little gloomy. they'd get along pretty well, especially when they aren't around other people. i love the phone idea. and i think if skell were to have him write anything, it'd be a checkup on kalos for the silph magazine or saffron paper, etc. just a writeup on how war has affected kalos. if she liked it, she'd offer him a regular column/spot. DANIEL FIDLER && skell bourasi'm just going to repost this very quick, as i just said it to banter/silas and i want to make sure you understand skell a bit, she can be hard to read: so she really wouldn't scare him upon meeting. honestly if he worked for her she'd be quite nonchalant and wouldn't treat him well nor bad. it might be a dismissive sort of thing- she simply wouldn't care quite enough to argue with him because she has "other things to handle." also, i love the idea of them being business partners, but i'd love some specifics...what does daniel supply/what can he supply, and what does he need in return?

skell bouras woops, and that's why we read the other plot posts kids. But seriously, that's really cool and I am a bit sorry to have brought up a redundant point like that. Back on track though dismissive would be a frustrating thing for Danny, and depending on context could actually get him pretty riled up, but really dealing with so many people he's probably a bit used to that. To be more specific about his business itself, Danny has tried to make his gang a kind of jack of all trades.
I imagine Skell would be interested in their active sale of weapons/imported&rare pokemon and his ability to supply info picked up by informants. Alongside men/women for muscle provided by his gang. And really, all Danny wants in return is his money and a fair share of any gains so that he can keep his little empire in Goldenrod going -- and maybe expand at a later date.
