▶ BASIC INFORMATION.
POSITIVE | Kind, Caring, Determined, Sincere, Orderly, Passionate.

Walter James Greendale also known as Wally by most, was born a frail child. Birthed in Petalburg City he lived with his mother and father. Despite his fragility he always liked going outside out into the fresh air where he could play with the pokemon. However he showed symptoms of breathing difficulty which only furthered his parents worry. They coddled him and thus he didn't get much of a chance to explore like he had wished to, often cooped up in the house. This opened him up to reading, where he read all about pokemon, the world, and other subjects that interested him.
But then his health took a nosedive when he was around ten years old. His parents thus made the decision to move him into aunt's and uncle's place in Verdanturf where the clean air would do him good- or so said the doctor. Before he left Petalburg Wally desperately pleaded to Norman the Normal type Gym Leader to help him catch a pokemon. It was here that he was officially introduced to Ruby/Sapphire- the man's son/daughter.
It was through Ruby's teaching that Wally caught his first pokemon- Ralts. After thanking both Norman and Ruby/Sapphire he then set off to Verdanturf where he would meet Ruby/Sapphire once again. Wally then went off on a journey of his own after running away from his uncle's. At one point he battles Ruby/Sapphire in Mauville City but is defeated.
He then decides to go back home with his Uncle. But he once again runs off later and trains before confronting Ruby/Sapphire where he is soundly defeated. This doesn't depress him though and instead makes him more determined. He declares that someday he will beat Ruby/Sapphire and let's Ruby/Sapphire pass onto the Elite Four... With his asthma practically gone he continued training until events changed his stance. When the war started up Wally decided that he had to take action. Not being a league challenger himself he didn't have the same ideals as Zemina did.
He felt the league were ignoring the dangers that rear their head every few years. With all a total of six different evil teams appearing under less than a decade Wally knew something had to change. But being the kind soul he was fighting so viciously wasn't his preference. He didn't like to make people hurt or suffer as to him battling was just a form of fun entertainment and a challenge. Not to cause unneeded death! With that in mind he joined Kopec with the decision to become an Author, seeing as alongside reading he had a passion for writing too. Maybe his childhood years spent cooped up in his room will actually some merit after all?
