▶ HISTORY:
Born on December 16 and raised in Vermillion City, the Grimoire family has a long history with dabbling in the political affairs of the Pokemon League. They groomed and preened their heirs for potential positions within the League. As a youth, Hector was incredibly bright and easily absorbed all the information that had been thrown at him. In his spare time, he was primarily isolated by his family who had begun to sense growing tensions between the League and the citizens that it governed. The Grimoire family were die-hard supporters of the League (and, in fact, they were the very family who had begun the League Academy generations ago). Once he had reached the proper age, Hector was immediately enrolled in the school. Graduating at the top of his class, he immediately enrolled in the League's administrative forces and quickly climbed its ranks.
The Academy had not been the only organization that the Grimoire family had started up. In fact, the majority of its administration fell under Grimoire jurisdiction. When trainers began to mill about and grow restless, they were one of the first people to realize that something was amiss in Vermillion City. In fact, the Grimoires were one of the first people of the League to come under fire for corruption. Despite the fact that they had kept the area running relatively smoothly for the past few years, the family was accused of exerting an aristocracy (not even an oligarchy) over the city.
When Hector was twenty-two, he saw that military might and muscle was sometimes one of the better solutions to crowd control. Vermillion's police power was what the Grimoires used to put down the very beginnings of a riot. Not that anyone was surprised, considering that, with increasing tensions, Vermillion City was slowly phasing into a dictatorship. But hey, the city's been kept relatively safe over the past few years, and everyone gets free healthcare and education. Your basic rights are protected (unless they threaten any form of preconceived order or pose a potential harm for the rest of Vermillion's citizens), so what is there to complain about?
It is with this kind of an attitude that Hector seeks to enter Zemina's platform.
