▶ BASIC INFORMATION.
▶ Pollux Zervos, Kopec. The Money Guy!
▶ NAME:
Pollux Zervos
Pollux Zervos
▶ AGE:
twenty-nine
▶ GENDER:
male
▶ HOMETOWN:
KANTO, Vermillion City
▶ AFFILIATION:
Pollux is a true blue supporter of Kopec, and he refuses to say anything else about the matter. Don't let reports of weapons being smuggled to Boure and Zemina alike to profit off of the war tell you otherwise, the reign of Pollux is one of peace, harmony, and loads of cash.
▶ JOB/OCCUPATION:
Is there anything I can put here besides Rich Boy? He's had his life served to him on a silver platter since the beginning, and while his own slippery, serpentine intelligence sometimes helps, a large portion of his wealth is all thanks to mumsy and daddy.
▶ IN-DEPTH INFORMATION.
▶ PERSONALITY:
+ Dangerously unpredictable, and as slippery as an eel.
+ Very easy to underestimate thanks to his buffoonish ways and ugly face.
+ Compassionate to the people of Vermilion City, even if he's doing it more to secure public approval than out of genuine altruism.
+ Well . . . he has a healthy self esteem at least!
+ Ladies, he's rich~!
- A buffoon highly prone to overestimating himself and wasting time heaping lavish praise upon himself.
- Gets very whiny when deprived of what he wants, or forced to actually battle.
- Values the almighty dollar a little bit too much. We get it, man, calm down!
- Holds grudges like crazy. You cross the Money Guy, and he'll stop at nothing to ruin you.
- A bit of a daredevil who often pushes the envelope a little too hard. If he didn't always come out on top, surely his parents would disown him.

▶ HISTORY:
Pollux was always the golden boy of the Zervos family. As the firstborn, since his youth he was taught to fit himself into the position of family heir. The world was to be handed to him on a silver platter, his for the taking as he continued forging it into his parents' empire. At daycare his parents took great pleasure in the block structures he made, championing them as the first outreaches of his brilliant young mind. They never saw him stealthily slipping any blocks from the other children's piles: would they have been disappointed, or even prouder of his ruthless urge to create?
He didn't think much of Helen when she was born. When she was learning how to cry and crawl, he had already learned to walk, talk, and run his own microcorporation. A gift from mumsy and daddy, currently a peek into his future but eventually how they would test his worth. Until the day he was truly of age to ruin it, though, it would simply be another measure of how superior he was to those he grew up around. Not even dearest sister received such a luxury, a fact he constantly held over her head.
There were plenty of ups and downs as Pollux learned his way around the world of wealth. A gambler and a risktaker, he often found himself losing just as much as he gained on a particular venture. And yet, when the chips were down, he always found himself coming out on top. Maybe it was his tenacity when backed into a corner, the goofball turning as slippery as an eel when push came to shoe. Or maybe it was his willingness to lie, cheat, and steal, stopping at no lengths to ensure he'd rule the day. Maybe he was just lucky. But his favorite answer, of course, was that he was just better than those around him.
The war came, and he greeted it with a smile. By now Pollux was a man, and one who had earned his parents' trust several times over. No matter who ruled Vermillion, he would grasp it by its pursestrings to reign as its true king. He'd keep quiet, pledging to neither Boure nor Zemina in hopes of worming his way into safety no matter which side took control of the city. Besides, why cut ties when all parties involved in this gruesome affair had such perfectly good money on hand? Courting both sides would be a great risk, but the thrill was half the fun of playing the game.
Tensions continue to mount, but where angels flee fools continue to tread. For what does he need to fear? The name Zervos is far too ironclad to be slain by bullet or bomb. The clinking of coins can send thousands soaring away to do his bidding. Were any to object, menial goods can easily make them look the other way. As far as Pollux is concerned his position is an irresistible force, trampling over anything that would dare defy him. Perhaps he is right. Perhaps he'll learn how wrong he is behind the barrel of a smoking gun.
