Born to an old money family in an old, old town, Svet had the arc of her life planned out for her from the moment she came into the world. Everyone told her "we know exactly what is best for you."
Poor suckers. Svet never believed them for a second. They put her in private school. When she got kicked out, they put her in a military school. When the military kicked her out, it was public reform school, to their everlasting shame.
She graduated top of her class, batted her eyelashes over the summer to convince her father she'd changed for good, and got into Celadon University on legacy.
In a shocking turn of events, Svet actually liked college. What she didn't like was graduating and realizing she was back to having nothing to do but cause mayhem.
Then a war broke out and she was all: "fuck yes, I'm gonna get to legally murder people," and joined the side that looked like would see her through the most battles.
